My friend Shari loved these animals and it was her dream pet! She died over 14yrs ago and she was amazing and I miss her! I also thought it was the bacteria is the bite! Incredible animals! PS remember venom causes cancer!

Never thought I'd see a tame one of those things.

So Mix the Komodo venom and snake venom to neutralize its effect.

this video has a clickbaity rubbish title. this is not a fair contest for several reasons. the tug of war is not direct. and seeing the rope, the knot, and the people who tied the knot decide best to get undone (andor not try again) tells me there's more to it that just a tie(d not.... sorry). and what's worse, because I see no reason to do it other than to skew the test. they did not use identical dummies for the 'intelligence' test. but I'm amazed by how the keepers knew that having a backup lion would make them jump into action. and also how the tiger tried to befriend the box.... stripes talk to stripes? what if they'd painted the box like the lion's? with the giraffe-like pattern? a much more real test, would be to let both of them have at it for the food, after having starved them "equally" (which I'm freaking sure they can do pretty well; when scientific british people took over africa they still had human slaves, so they would have been even more brutal with their competitions or dunno) and then simply observe who eats first
